POL363: "Somehow My facebook account and my blockbuster account had found each other and the two were interacting. Everytime i added a movie to my blockbuster account, it sent a message to my facebook creating a list of movies. This is not something i initiated. i did not inform blockbuster that i had a facebook, nor did i inform facebook about my blockbuster account. somehow (probably because i use the same email for both) blockbuster tracked me down on facebook and established a connection. this perhaps is not the worst thing that could happen. What does it matter that all my friends on facebook can see what movies i want to rent from Blockbuster? not the end of the world. To me this is about the principle of the thing. I want to be able to control the information that appears on my facebook, not some computer that figures out that this facebook account and this blockbuster account are owned by the same person."
