Two week plan (Oct 7-21)

Today: groups use Rebooting America to imagine millennial government/rebooted government. What problems have to be addressed? What are ways to address them? Groups will also divide up the remaining 26 chapters (3-4 chapter a member) to read for Thursday.

Thursday: in class, groups prepare power point presentations rooted in the most compelling aspects of Rebooting America.

Over break: everyone follow a specific aspect of the political campaign. It can be a website or blog. It can be an issue or community. It can be a state or strategy. The idea is that you follow its development on the web for a full week, checking daily. So you might look at the discussion on a single blog or small group of blogs for a week. Or you might start with one issue (McCain's health, for example) and see how that is covered for a week.

Oct 16: folks will report on what they covered; groups will begin planning to put together a video.
