Speeding is not what causes most car crashes

Blogging for cookies.: Speeding is not what causes most car crashes: "Speeding is not what causes most car crashes
Yeah, so I decided to look this up. Number one was distracted drivers. This includes rubbernecking (staring at already made crashes), texting, and chatting on cell phones.

Here is the Data

Their sources include The Washington Post, MADD, British Medical Journal.

So we talked about this in class. It isn't speeding which would mean we need less checking. Rather we need to be less stupid and not text/chat in cars.

Number two was fatigued drivers. Driver while fatigued is legal but also stupid.

Number three was drunk driving. Illegal and stupid.

Number four was our speeding."
