Video week

There is some terrific research on your blogs. Interesting material on a variety of topics from a variety of perspectives. The challenge for you as video makers is to focus this material. You might ask yourselves:

--what is the message of the video? what does it want the viewer to come away with? what should the viewer think after she or he has seen the video?

--what is the feeling of the video? tense? scary? funny? calm? surprising? adamant?

--what images and sounds get your message and feeling across?

Glad to hear there is a variety of perspectives people are taking. Yes it is important to consider the message that will be left with the audience or in this case, the class. To take it a step further... maybe we can all broadcast the videos on youtube or some video sharing website to see how many hits and comments it generates from the public.

BG--absolutely!! I definitely think the videos should be posted on You Tube. Great idea!
